Comfort Zone Palette - Review | Wet n Wild

I love eyeshadow palettes. I just love them. It doesn`t matter how many I have...I just have to have more! I`m so sad that I couldn`t bring all of my makeup when I moved here (so sad story).  I took a few of my palettes and one of them, of course is the Comfort Zone palette by Wet n Wild. I absolutely love it so I had to take it!

The packaging is stable, it`s well made and it closes well with a "click".  On the back we have information about the product, ingredients, and some  makeup looks suggestions. The palette is split in to two sides - on the left we have natural, warm shades and on the right we have earthy, green shades. All the shadows are shimmering, some of them have a lots of glitter and some of them - less. Every single shadow is labelled as "brow bone", "eyelid", "crease" and "definer" and I find this very sweet - it can really be helpful if you don`t have much experience with makeup. Of course you don`t have to use the shadows only the way they`re labelled. The palette comes with a little brush. I personally don`t use it, but if you don`t have anything else it will do the work.

I will quickly go through the shades. So, on the left/warm side we have a light, yellow, creamy shade as a brow bone shade. Then we have a warm rose copper shade, which have super creamy and smooth texture. The crease shade is deep bronze shade, which also is very nice and creamy, really smooth. And last we have a deep burgundy shade with lots of glitter. With this last shade you can experience a bit of fall-outs only when you`re applying them, because it`s not that creamy in texture like the last two shades. So if you want to use the definer shade I advice you to do your eyes first and then the rest of the face.

On the right side we have something like a... golden nude/beige shade with lots of sheen (if that makes sense...describing a color in English is really hard for me :D). When I first saw this shadow I thought it was a cool toned grey or something like that, but actually when you swatch it or apply it on  to the lid it`s not cool at all - it`s actually a very warm shade. Then we have a nice, olive green shade. The crease color on this side is a deep green (almost black) with a gold glitter in it. And the definer here is the shade that is considered as the dupe for MAC`s blue/brown pigment. This is a duo chromatic shade which is a warm red/brown shade with blue/green sheen and it just looks amazing. With this definer shade you can experience a bit of a fall-outs too. It`s hard to take a photo of a shade like this, let me tell you!

Of all the shades the left eyelid and crease are the most creamy. All the shadows are very well pigmented and so easy to work with. They apply smooth, they blend nice, they last all day, I just love them. I highly recommend this palette if you are looking for shimmering shadows in warm/green tones. I really think you won`t be disappointed! It`s inexpensive, it`s good quality, what more can we want?!

I hope this post was helpful/interesting to you. Feel free to say "Hi" on Facebook and Instagram! Stay positive and keep smiling, girls! I`ll see you next time!

      XO, Monika :)

Spotless Skin Face Wash | Simple | Review

Hello guys and welcome to My Place!

I hope you`re healthy and you`re feeling good. I definetly feel that way, although the weather outside is so cold!

So today I will be sharing with you my thoughts about the Spotless Skin Face Wash which should be dealing with problem skin - blemishes, pimples, etc. I have never had this kind of problems with my skin since now, so I decided to try this face wash from Simple. This product is for deep cleaning, and it`s suitable for sensitive skin, because it does not contains any coloring or perfume.

The cleanser contains zink (which absorbs excess oil), chamomile (which has anti-irritant effect) and witch hazel (which tones and tightens pores). The texture is gel like, but it`s not too thick. It has a little white bits in it, which I think should be exfoaliating. The scent is light and almost unnoticeable.

So...the product cleans the skin well as it doesn't dry it out. After use my skin feels fresh, clean and comfortable ( my skin is mixed and sensitive). There`s an inscription on the tube that says "Results from day 1", but honestly I didn`t see any result on my problem areas. When I started using it my face got a little bit better, but after a while the blemishes and pimples started to appear again. After almost 2 months I still don't see any visible results. I wouldn`t say that it helps with problem skin, but as normal cleanser it`s good. I`m still using it for my every day routine, but I probably won`t re-purchase it.

It was only £3 and I think for this price is good for every day use, but sadly it won`t help you with pimples and blemishes.

Berry Love Palette - Review | AVON

Hello, beauties! Hope you`re alright!

Today we`ll be talking about eyeshadows!
I have a couple of Avon`s quad palettes and today I`ll be sharing with you my thoughts of the Berry Love palette. I like Avon`s cosmetics, I often buy someting from them and most of the times I am satisfied with the products, ecpecially when you have in mind that their cosmetics are really on a budget.

The Berry Love palette contains 4 well combined shades, which in my oppinion are very good choice for the autumn. The shades are numbered and on the box it says where to put which colour |which is good if you don`t have much experiense with makeup|. The pakaging is well made, it closes well with a "click" and its classic shiny black - the standart Avon packaging. It have a big mirror in it, which I really apreciate in an eyeshadow palette <3

Shade 1 is a light pale creamy shade with shimmer. It is perfect for highlighting the brow bone and in the inner corner of the eye
Shade 2 is baby pink also with a bit of shimmer
Shade 3 is a cool metalic bronze shade with satin/metalic finish
Shade 4 is matte deep purple with a bit of shimmer in it, but it`s very, very little and almost unnoticable

The eyeshadows are a bit powdery, only the bronze shade is a bit oily. They are easy to work with, they apply nice and blend well. The colours are not very pigmented and intense, but you can use some eyeshadow primer, or white eye pencil to brighten them up and make them look more vibrant.
I have to say this palette was a very good purchase and I will recomend Avon`s quad palettes if you`re looking for nice and unexpensive makeup.
